So I paid him 50000.00, he signed the quit claim to my house and he agreed to keep the RV and refinance it. Well, 3 years later, I find out it has been repossessed AND my name is still on it. Because they can’t reach him, they are calling me for the money. For the last 3 years, I have worked 2 jobs to pay my bills (he was great at never having his wallet, it was on my credit cards). Anyway, I don’t have anymore money, the ex won’t return my phone calls or letters. I can’t and don’t want to pay

I was co-signer on an rv with boyfriend. we seperated and he wanted rv stating he would refinance to take my name off loan.Now I find out rv was repossed, and my name never was removed. Now he has claimed bankruptcy. Finally my question is -If rv was claimed on his bankruptcy, am I still liable for any $$ on it since I was co-signer???. Or am I cleared now since he put it on the claim?

Its very confusing lol. Especially since the AZ home has turned into a rental property since July 09. To make matters more confusing, the AZ home was refinanced in March 09 and i know I cannot fully deduct the points paid on that, but they will be amortized over the life of the loan.

Ive tried to research it on the web but they usually just explain the points and first and second home. But seeing as the RV was a second home for the first 5 months of the year and then turned to a 3rd home once we bought the house in GA in mid June I should be able to claim the first 5 months of the RV as a second home and from June on the interest paid on the house in GA as a second home.
AND the current renter in the AZ property does not pay the full mortgage. I can claim that as a loss.
